India-Vietnam Agricultural Trade Overview

  Vietnam is the fastest growing country. Vietnam is the potential market for electronics, textiles, footwear, and mobile phones. In the agricultural sector, Vietnam's trade with India has increased significantly. India is the 23rd biggest partner country which has invested in Vietnam. In the financial year 2023, India has invested around $3.5 million dollars in Vietnam. According to the V ietnam import data , Vietnam imported around $7 billion dollars worth of goods from India. These included gems, jewellery, metals, iron, steel, seafood, animal feeds, auto parts, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cotton, maize, etc.  Vietnam's population is continuously growing. Seafood and fish products are the most imported products of Vietnam. India is a prominent producer and exporter of seafood products. Fishery products are the most exported items from India to Vietnam. These include frozen shrimps, squid, cuttlefish, fish fillets, etc. As per Vietnam import export data , around $377 million

India's steel imports from China, Vietnam up by 41% in June 2023

  India is the second largest steel producer in the world. Globally, India is ranked 11th leading steel importer in the world. Whereas, India is the 12th leading steel exporter worldwide. According to the India import export data , around $17 billion worth of iron and steel imports were made by India in the fiscal year 2022. Whereas, in 2021, it was around $8.9 billion . China, Japan, UAE and Vietnam are the most favoured markets for India’s steel imports. As per the latest India customs data reports, iron & steel imports from China and Vietnam have increased significantly. The overall iron and steel imports by China and Vietnam were totaled to be 4.8 lakh metric tonnes. Also, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Russia and the United States of America had increased by a significant amount.  Recently, in June 2023, China steel exports to India rose to 37% as compared to 26% in June 2022, the increase was quite large. China was the second leading steel exporter to India with over 60% share.

Panama, "the world's 8th largest copper exporter"

  Panama is an emerging economy. It is currently ranked 78th largest economy. In terms of exports, it is the 112th leading exporter of goods in the world. According to the Panama import export data reports, Panama's total trade stood at $33 billion during the fiscal year 2022. Panama's top trading partners were the USA, China, Japan and South Korea. Panama makes most of its trade in mining products. As per Panama export data reports, Panama’s total exports were recorded to be $15.5 billion in the fiscal year 2022. It was 16% more compared to the $13 billion in 2021. Panama's majority of the exports came from ores, slag and ash. In which, copper was the top exported product. Also, Panama is the 8th largest exporter of copper ores. Panama customs data suggests that the country's overall copper exports crossed over $2.8 billion in 2022. Iran-Tanzania Trade Overview

  Over the years, the bilateral trade between Tanzania and Iran had seen rapid growth. According to the Tanzania import export data records, the bilateral trade between the two crossed over $70 Million in 2022. There was around a 35% increase in overall imports and exports from Tanzania and Iran. In 2021, the overall trade was estimated around 12 million dollars. Tanzania and Iran are working collaboratively to expand their trade to $100 million by the end of financial year 2023.  As per Tanzania import data reports, Tanzania imported around 12.5 million dollars worth of goods from Iran in the fiscal year 2022. During this period, Iran's most crucial exports were iron, steel, cereals, wheat, fertilizer, chemical, mineral fuels, oils, and medical equipment. Surge in China's imports of semiconductor manufacturing equipment from Japan

  As, Technology is evolving, the demand for semiconductors is also growing. There is a huge shortage of semiconductors in the global market. Currently, the top semiconductors suppliers are Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Apart from China, other major markets for semiconductor exports are Singapore, Malaysia, United States, South Korea, Japan, Germany and the United States. Japan is the second leading semiconductor supplier in the world. As per the global import export data reports, Japan has exported around $12 Billion worth of semiconductor devices during FY 2022. Turkey's Auto Industry get major boost by rising imports by Kazakhstan

  Turkey is among the top automotive markets in the world. As per the Turkey customs data , the country's total automotive exports were estimated around 30 billion dollars in FY 2022. Whereas in 2021, it was totaled to be 29 billion dollars and 25 billion dollars in 2020. The major markets for Turkey's automotive exports are France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and Germany.                France is the leading importer of Turkish automotive products with over 20% share of Turkey's automotive exports. Other major importers of Turkish automotive parts were Italy (9%), Spain (8.5%), United Kingdom (8.2%), Germany (8%) and Poland (4.8%).  Whereas the fastest growing markets for Turkish automotive exports are Spain, France, United States, Sweden, Egypt, Greece, Israel, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan. According to the current Turkey export data reports, during June 2023, Turkey exported over 20 million dollars worth of Automotive products. There was around 350% increase in the exports
