From the past few years, Kazakhstan has emerged as the major trading partner of China. One of the main reasons behind this is Kazakhstan’s rich natural gas and oil reserves. According to Kazakhstan import export data records, the bilateral trade between China and Kazakhstan rose by 23% in 2022.  The total trade value was estimated to be around 31 Billion US Dollars. Last year imports and exports were worth 25 billion Dollars. Both the nations are planning to reach 35 billion US Dollars bilateral trade by the end of 2030.
