  Uganda coffee exports rose to 400 Kg millions in 2022 making it the largest coffee exporter from Africa. Uganda leads the coffee export market in East Africa. As per the Uganda import export data reports 2022, Uganda's coffee exports increased by 54% as compared to last year coffee exports. There were around 6.3 million bags of coffee worth 862 million US Dollars in 2022. On the other hand, in 2021, 6 million bags of coffee were shipped in 2021 with worth 559 million US Dollars. According to the Uganda customs data, Uganda's coffee exports shipments increased by 3% in 2022.  Our Uganda export data by country reflects that Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Tanzania, South Africa, Tunisia, Kenya and Somalia are the largest importer of Coffee from Uganda. Italy, Sudan and Spain are the fastest growing markets for Uganda's coffee. On the other hand, Uganda does the majority of its coffee imports from Burundi, Congo, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.
